Update:  Some of you may know this from my blog, but I've been having trouble with my hands.  I have been resting them and, as a result, they are no longer as painful, but they are very weak.  I will also have to rethink how I make my bears' noses--embroidering several layers has proven just too painful.  I plan to return to bear-making soon and have several ideas to try out for new bear noses.

However, I may not be able to make as many bears as I want, nor as fast as I would like.  I really appreciate your understanding and patience.  I guess we will all have to wait and see what transpires and evolves from this "setback."  I try to think of "setbacks" as challenges and am sure that good things will come from this.

Johnny's Going to TBAI

I'm very pleased to announce that "Johnny Appleseed" will be a Gallery piece on auction at the 2010 Teddy Bear Artist Invitational (TBAI).  I can't tell you how honored I feel to be able to participate in this wonderful venue.

All proceeds from Johnny will be donated towards supporting endangered animals.  TBAI will be held in Binghamton, NY from August 12th to August 14th.  I would love to see you there!

Welcome to bingle bears!  I've always loved little things.  As my grandma used to tell me, "Good things come in small packages."  I knew she was referring to my size, but whenever she said it I delighted in imagining all sorts of fanciful little beings.  Now as an adult, I continue to delight in the little things in life as I create fluffy, cuddly bears and  friends that you are sure to love.
